John, does BestFit50 contain specific workout routines that I can follow to gain lean muscle mass. I am 56 and a gym guy as well but I am not seeing the gains or results I am looking for. I am 6’2″ 180lbs. I would like to be 185 to 190 but in lean muscle.

How much does the printed version cost ? You may not have a computer available all the time, they go out , power down etc. . What if you want to read sitting on your deck or else where? Nothing beats a real Book in your hands.

I’m very skeptical about your book. Your models seem to have had a history of being in the weight game at some point in their life. I’m 60 years old with a life long athletic back round which has caused me to have had both knees replaced. I have started back with lifting 3 days a week and walking for my cardio. I feel like your programs could help me tremendously, but I feel that these models are not natural. Perhaps a little steroid use could be involved ? For the people used In your presentations are those who live for how they look. I don’t want to live in a gym. I’m in good shape and making gains in my current workout. But although I’m interested that you could help me out, but not ready to committed to make a 6 day a week commitment. There is a part of me that wants to pull the trigger but feel things are a little nervous that things are for people that are looking a contest body. Something that doesn’t interest me. Can you help an average man who wants better, stay lean and be healthy?

Hi David, workout commitment and intensity is a personal choice, what’s right for one may not be right for others. I can tell you I achieved my physique completely drug free and as a side hobby during a busy and challenging professional carrier. While some people are motivated by a “contest body” others find motivation in just being the best they can be. That said, with proper workouts and proper diet, anyone with normal body hormones and physiology has the capability to achieve impressive results. Hope this helps, very best wishes.

In your report concerning a multivitamin, you listed some key components, what brand vitamin was this? I got the pdf version but I would have preferred the printed version to add to my library.

Hi Mike, currently we have BestFit50 available in .pdf, which of course can be saved and viewed as an electronic document. Does this answer your question?

  • Charles says:

What has been studied about men over 60? Most trainers I talk to invent a story, on the spot, without any real knowledge. I can assume much of the same 50+ logic applies, but I’d like to read something more.
    Do you have any suggestions?

    • admin says:

Hi Charles, yes, much or what’s true for men over 50 is also true for men over 60, just that the aging process has gone a bit further and subjects like testosterone reduction, loss of muscle mass, slower metabolism, and less joint flexibility all become more acute. All the more reason to get the diet and the fitness levels going strong. Certified personal trainers should have covered masters athletes to some degree, so hopefully the people you’re talking with aren’t really making things up. So be a regular reader of bmf.c, we’re here to help you understand how to achieve the best health possible be it over 50 or over 60!
